When I was tasked with relaunching the classic and beloved My Buddy doll, the focus was on a modern reimagining rather than a complete reinvention of the brand. The goal was to preserve its familiar look and feel while refining it with a more elevated, contemporary aesthetic. I approached this by recreating the original brand assets with thoughtful enhancements and painting new character illustrations that feel fresh yet still evoke the charm of the original art.
